NOWA FALA (New Wave) is a new political party on the Polish political scene, founded by Joanna Senyszyn, a well-known left-wing activist and long-time member of the Polish Sejm and the European Parliament. She is particularly popular among young people, whom she speaks to in their own language, despite her age. She ran in the last Polish presidential election, where, despite losing, she drew public attention to issues close to her heart during the debates. During the presidential campaign, her RED BEADS became her personal symbol and trademark.
Joanna is a person full of warmth, cordiality, and good humor, who cares deeply about issues related to the equality of all social groups and the elimination of social inequalities, and who strives to combat poverty, social injustice, exclusion, and intolerance. It so happens that all these values are also my values, which is why I offered to help create the graphic identity of Nowa Fala. I used left-wing red, but with a touch of feminist magenta, waves that form the shape of Poland’s borders, and red circles – a direct reference to the famous red beads.
The project was carried out on a pro bono basis, without remuneration.
